1. Who we are

2. Personal data we collect

When you use the Service:

• Voice and conversations: your voice recordings, the text transcribed from them, VibeBeat's replies, and short summaries of past conversations so that VibeBeat can remember what matters to you.
• Information you mention: details you share in conversation (for example your name, hobbies, family members or health conditions) may be saved to your profile to personalise replies.
• Health and activity data from Apple Health, only with your permission: heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, active energy and sleep, and the times they were recorded.
• Account and device data: an account identifier, your date of birth (used to set age-appropriate reminder ranges), app settings and basic technical logs.
• Family contacts: the name and contact details of family members you choose to receive reminders.

When you use this website:

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist.
• A language-preference cookie. We use your approximate country, derived from your IP address at the moment of your visit, only to choose the default language; we do not store it.

3. How we use personal data

• To understand what you say and reply to you.
• To remember previous conversations and personalise the Service.
• To refer to your current health readings during a conversation and to send wellbeing reminders to the family members you choose.
• To keep the Service secure, fix problems and improve reliability.
• To tell waitlist subscribers when the Service launches (you can unsubscribe at any time).

We do not sell personal data. We do not use health data for advertising or marketing. Health readings shared with VibeBeat during a conversation are used for that conversation and are not added to VibeBeat's conversation memory.

4. Not a medical device

VibeBeat is a wellbeing service. Its reminders are not medical advice or diagnosis. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

5. Who we share personal data with

We share personal data only as needed to run the Service, with service providers bound by contract to protect it:

• Cloud hosting and database providers [names to be confirmed];
• Speech recognition, AI language and voice synthesis providers [names to be confirmed];
• Messaging providers used to deliver reminders to family members [names to be confirmed];
• Apple, when you use Apple Health or on-device speech recognition, under Apple's own privacy terms.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to protect someone's life or safety.

6. Transfers outside Hong Kong

Some service providers process data outside Hong Kong. When we transfer personal data, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to this Policy.

7. How long we keep personal data

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit between your devices and our servers. We limit access to people who need it to operate the Service. No system is completely secure; if a data breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Your rights and choices

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data, ask us to delete your account and data, withdraw your consent to Apple Health access at any time in your iPhone settings, and unsubscribe from waitlist emails. 10. Family members and carers

If a family member sets up the Service for an older person, they should explain this Policy to that person and obtain their agreement. Family contacts can ask to be removed at any time.

11. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.

12. Cookies

This website uses only a strictly necessary cookie to remember your language. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. [Update this section if analytics are added.]

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date; for significant changes we will notify users in the app.
