Things you might want to know
Your parent needs an Apple Watch paired with an iPhone. Health data syncs in the background through the iPhone, so the VibeBeat app needs to be installed on it.
If the watch is an LTE model, it can talk with VibeBeat directly over the mobile network, with no iPhone nearby, though replies may be a little slower. Non-LTE models need the iPhone close by.
Yes. VibeBeat needs a connection to understand speech and reply. When the watch or phone is offline, it can't chat for the moment.
VibeBeat supports many languages, so your parent can simply speak in the language they're used to. [Supported language list to be confirmed]
Yes. VibeBeat remembers the key points of your chats, like your favourite café or how the family is doing, and brings them up naturally next time, just like an old friend.
When your parent presses to talk, VibeBeat looks at that moment's heart rate, blood oxygen, steps, activity and sleep data (depending on what the watch has recorded) to show it cares. In the background, it regularly syncs heart rate and blood oxygen.
When heart rate or blood oxygen goes outside an age-based reminder range, VibeBeat sends a reminder so family can keep an eye out. Family alerts are coming soon. This is an everyday reminder, not a medical judgement.
No. VibeBeat is a wellbeing service. It doesn't diagnose or treat any condition and can't replace a doctor's advice. If your parent says they feel unwell, it reminds them to tell family or see a doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number right away.
Family only receives health reminders, never conversation content. Health data is only referenced during that conversation and is never written into conversation memory. Read our Privacy Policy
